While on the path of learning, Vajrasattva made the aspiration that anyone who recites his mantra will be purified of their obscurations. As such, he is associated most commonly with purification practices. Here in his single form, he sits in vajra pusture holding a bell and dorje.

This statue was hand-crafted in Patan, Nepal, an area with an ancient history of fine-craft statue making, and made of copper and silver.
