Is it secure to order from this site?

Yes. Our shopping cart processes all the information by using the latest security technology: SSL 128-bit encryption.

Do you keep my personal information?

Yes, your personal information is securely stored in our Ecommerce database with the same SSL 128-bit encryption. You have the option to make this information available for future orders when logging in, so that you do not have to type it again when you come back and shop from us.

Do you sell or trade any of my information?

Absolutely not: We do not sell, trade, or share any of your information with anyone under any circumstances.

When will my credit card be charged?

Credit cards are charged at the time of the order, before the order is shipped out. You will receive notification by e-mail if the payment was approved.

What is your return, refund & exchange policy?

Return policy
Within the first 30 days of delivery, if you are dissatisfied with your items, you may be eligible for a free return (includes shipping!)

Free returns are eligible for:

  • Domestic orders only (within the continental US).
  • Items that are unused and in the same condition it was originally received.
  • USPS only

Free returns are NOT eligible for:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloads
  • Consecrated items
  • Clearance items
  • International orders
  • Items delivered through UPS

To begin a return:

1. Contact one of our sales representatives at
customerservice@tibetantreasures.com or 877-479-6129 and request a return, stating what the reason for the return is

2. Once approved for a return, you will receive an email with a USPS postage label from Tibetan Treasures

3. Within 7 days, Print out the label, adhere the label to the outside of the package, with your items securely wrapped inside

4.  Once the returned items have been received at our store, if the items are unused and undamaged we will issue a refund to the original form of payment, this may take between 5-7 business days. Please note: For most return requests, shipping costs will also be refunded, with the exception of partial returns or original shipping being expedited.

Exchanges

 If you are unsatisfied with one or more items, exchanges may be made for an order of the same value. The process is handled the same way as returns (read above under "Return instructions"). If you wish to make an exchange for an item of greater value, you will be asked to pay the difference. Domestic Priority and First Class Shipping is free for exchange (UPS, international and expedited shipping are not included

Why does my item look slightly different than in the picture?

Because the majority of our items are handmade in Nepal, there may be small discrepancies in the appearance of each item. If you are highly dissatisfied with your item, you may return it or exchange it for another item. Shipping is included in your return!

Where do I put a note about shipping at checkout?

Please put any notes you may have about your order in the NOTES field in your shopping cart.

How do I calculate shipping?

Shipping is calculated at the checkout screen before you pay.

How does Afterpay work?

Afterpay is a 3rd party service that allows you to set up payment plans during the checkout process, so that you can still get the items you want, but without paying for the total cost upfront. These plans are all generally structured the same way: The purchase amount is split up into four payments made every two weeks over the course of six weeks, with the first installment due as you check out.

Do you ship Internationally?

We accept international orders, unless your country of origin does not accept packages from the United States Postal Service ( List of Countries who aren't accepting USPS packages).

For UPS, please visit UPS Shipping Rules for more information about sending to your country.

When creating an order, please put religious custom codes in the company line if applicable, as well as filling out all of the address information completely, so we can fulfill your order without any obstacle.

If you do not pick up your items from the post office, or delivery
attempts are failed due to invalid addresses or customer inattention, you are able to request refund for the items (but not shipping costs) when the items are returned to us. However, you will have to pay for postage costs for the items to be resent.

Please note: once a package has entered another country from the United States, the package is no longer in our jurisdiction for tracking, for further assistance or help with your package reaching its final destination, you will need to track and follow-up with your local country's mail service.

How does First class, Priority mail, Media Mail and UPS shipping work?

First Class shipping is the most basic shipping, shipped through the USPS, for packages weighing less than 1lb in total. This type of shipping does not come with tracking, and can take anywhere from 5-7 business days.

Priority Mail shipping is offered through USPS. This mail is faster than First class and comes with tracking.

UPS Shipping is offered by a private organization and the shipping can tend to be slower than priority mail shipping. It comes with tracking and is recommended for those living in rural areas, and is recommended for international shipping.

Media Mail is for books, cds, dvds and some photographs. You cannot ship other items other than this criteria. The shipping is slow, but also the cheapest, and is not tracked.

What happens to my order when I add "consecration?"

When you choose the option to consecrate your items, such as Purba consecration or Statue consecration, the item associated will be consecrated by our Vajra Master during our event, imbuing the ritual object with blessings to now use in ritual activity. Your other items in your order will be shipped out when the consecrated item is shipped out. This takes place after the consecration event ends. ex. our yearly Kilaya event ends February 10th, so your entire order will not be shipped out until after this date.

How can I track my package?

Tracking information becomes available once your package has been dispatched by the Tibetan Treasures packing team. Upon shipment, a unique tracking number is generated and automatically sent to your registered email address.

  • For Domestic Customers: If your package has been shipped via Ground Advantage or Priority Mail, you can track your package at USPS.
  • For UPS Customers: Both domestic and international customers can track their packages at UPS.
  • For International Customers: For those who have chosen First Class or Priority Mail International, tracking is available through GlobalPost. This link provides up-to-date tracking information, including details specific to your destination country.
