In Himalayan lore, singing bowls were once said to be forged from seven sacred metals—gold, silver, copper, tin, iron, lead, and mercury—each tied to cosmic forces. The Ultabati, hand-hammered in Nepal from refined bronze alloys, is a deep, heavy bowl with rounded sides and especially low, mystical tones. It is linked to Saturn, planet of discipline and transformation. Its profound vibrations support the release of fear and karmic obstacles, fostering inner strength, resilience, and spiritual growth. Ultabati bowls often carry visible hammer marks, with exteriors that darken over time while the interiors remain bright. Some are also finished with simple etched lines.
