Shakyamuni Buddha is reknown by many people, Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike, to be the founder of Buddhism, and was considered to be a spiritual leader of great polairty with the common Hindu devotees of northern Nepal and India, with the goal of attaining non-atman. During this time, better known as Siddhartha Guatama, he started a revolutionary concept of the Middle Way, a path beyond extremes. These prayer flags are handmade in Nepal with 100% cotton.
