Softcover | 93 pages
Also available in eBook formats
This commentary was written as a companion to the concise English Tara practice, Red Tara: An Open Door to Bliss and Ultimate Awareness. The book, compiled and authorized by His Eminence Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche (1930-2002), provides highly relevant historical background and explanatory teachings. It is intended to serve as a manual to guide the meditator through the varied steps of the Red Tara practice, while explaining the meaning and offering clear, detailed instructions.
The concise practice itself is based on an extensive Red Tara practice that is part of the Apang Terton cycle of revealed treasures. Rinpoche established Red Tara meditation as a main practice in all his dharma centers, and it has since become a profound source of spiritual inspiration for thousands of people all over the world.
The commentary has recently been reprinted on bright white glossy paper with the cover moderately reworked. There have been no changes to the second edition text.
