In Himalayan lore, singing bowls were said to be forged from seven sacred metals—gold, silver, copper, tin, iron, lead, and mercury—each linked with a celestial force. The Naga, or Pedestal Bowl, carries this lineage in spirit while today crafted from refined bronze alloys. Closely associated with Mars, it is used to balance anger, impulsiveness, and difficulties in taking action, restoring courage and vitality. Its ceremonial form—with a rounded bowl atop a raised base, often inscribed. Sizes usually range from 4″ to 10″—produces bright tones in the third to sixth octave.
