In our practice, tingshas are often used during sur offering, as well as to mark transitions in meditation and ritual. Their clear, penetrating sound helps gather awareness, clear the space, and support a sense of presence and continuity within the practice.

Each cymbal is engraved with the syllables of Avalokitshevra's Mani mantra, , adding an additional layer of meaning to their use. When struck together, they produce a precise and harmonious tone suitable for meditation, ritual, and sound offering.
