This thangka depicts the assembly of gurus and deities that belong to the Nyingma Longchen Nyingtik Refuge Tree, a terma, or 'hidden treasure' text, that was widely taught by Dudjom Rinpoche. The vast Refuge Tree arises from Lake Danakosha where Guru Rinpoche was born.

This thangka is framed in traditional Tibetan silk brocade and includes a curtain to keep it protected when not displayed.
