Ekajati is a principal female protector in Tibetan Buddhism, particularly in the Nyingma tradition, where she is venerated as a guardian of the tantric path and a remover of obstacles. She is known for her fearsome appearance, typically depicted as black in color, with one central eye, one long white tooth, and yellow hair twisted into a single braid.
