These tingsha (Tibetan hand cymbals) are handmade by Dechen Bell Sage in Dehradun, India, each pair individually crafted and hand-tuned for the clarity of its tone.

Tingsha are traditionally sounded during sur (burnt offering) practice — calling those to whom the offering is made — and may also be used to open and close a session of meditation.
