Jetsun Milarepa (1042 - 1135) is generally considered one of Tibet's most famous yogis and poets. He was a student of Marpa Lotsawa, and a major figure in the history of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.
This medium-sized painting is framed by blue, red and gold traditional brocade. Overall measurement (including brocade) is 45" long x 24" wide. (Width to the end of knobs is 31.5") The painting itself measures 19.5" x 13.75".
