This incense powder is handcrafted from the wild herbs of Lapchi — rhododendron, juniper, pamo, and other fragrant plants gathered in the clean air of its isolated environment, some 4,600 meters above sea level. According to the words of the Buddha, Lapchi Snow Mountain is the sacred speech mandala of Chakrasamvara. Not only was Lapchi blessed by Chakrasamvara, it was also the long-term retreat place of Jetsun Milarepa, and it has been blessed by many great masters — among them Saraha, Shantarakshita, and Yuthok Yonten Gonpo — as well as the great disciples of the incomparable Lord Jigten Sumgön.
