This mala is an authentic bodhicitta mala. These seeds come directly from a bodhi tree. The bodhi tree is a type of tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment. Malas made from these seeds are known to be very powerful for spiritual practice.

It is very difficult to acquire beads of the same diameter, therefore most bodhi seed malas are shaved down to make beads of the same size. Smaller seeds are much rarer, and therefore, much more valuable. Our bodhi seed malas hold the original shape of the bodhi seed, without any dying or altering. The Guru bead represents enlightened body, speech and mind - with white shell, red agate and blue lapis lazuli.

These beads are 12mm with a 17mm sized guru bead.
